The History of Les Deux
Les Deux is the story of a cross-cultural relationship between a political refuge and a prep boy. A relationship based on mutual inspiration while embracing the diversity of their respective backgrounds and mentalities. The authenticity of this relationship was carried into what in 2011 became Les Deux. The foundation of Les Deux was always to be indiscriminate of gender, politics, cultural backgrounds, and religious beliefs - we are for everyone.
The vision was to create a niche in the fashion industry based on a dualistic approach that combined the two completely different styles; prep boy Ivy League meeting the unpretentious street fashions. The adventure started with just a t-shirt and evolved into a global brand represented by more than 500 retailers.
At Les Deux, we believe in unifying human relations across physical and cultural borders by defining a visionary lifestyle based on compassion, creativity, and the freedom to aim high - we make premium apparel.
We strive to create better lives through the Les Deux brand. Our vision is to become the most meaningful fashion brand in the world through our mission to inspire people to pursue their dreams by engaging in the world we live in, and together leave a significant legacy behind.
To inspire – we want to inspire others to pursue their dreams and never stop believing in themselves. Everything we do is with the purpose to inspire those around us – whether if it’s in the way we design and communicate our collections, through our collaboration partners, or in the way we work. Our source of inspiration is wide ranging with a basis in the modern man’s world.
Personal relationships – we wish to make everything we do personal and meaningful. We believe it is essential to build trusting relationships with everyone we work with, who accompany us on this journey, and who we have a connection with. We want to include them in our continuous efforts to become the world’s most meaningful brand and thereby influence as many people as possible.
Thoroughness – no matter what we do, we always strive to do our utmost and constantly push ourselves to improve. To achieve our goal of becoming the world’s most meaningful brand for as many people as possible, we employ inspiring approaches, where thoroughness is a vital element.
